Custom Antibody Service: an Overview

A number of factors might come to your mind when you try to define a successful antibody project: affinity or specificity of an antibody to a certain antigen, performance of an antibody in a certain application (e.g., Western blot, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, ELISA, immunoprecipitation, ChIP, flow cytometry), delivery time and cost. The relative importance of each consideration may vary from customer to customer, and from project to project.  For this reason, we have designed a highly flexible and individualized program, which would deliver suitable antibodies for your specific experiment(s) and target protein(s).  The key advantages of using our custom antibodies service are summarized below:

Variety of antibodies and animal hosts.  Depending on your preference, we could raise monoclonal, polyclonal and modification-specific (polyclonal) antibodies in mouse, rat, rabbit and sheep.

No limitation on antigens.  We could raise antibodies against any protein target, even a difficult one like an integral membrane protein, a GPCR or a transcription factor.

Optimal choice of antigens.  Using our proprietary AccuTope algorithm, see here for details.

Advanced techniques in immunization, hybridoma generation, cell and antibody screening would significantly increase your chance of success.

Strict Quality Control and Validation Processes.  See individual services for details.
